Mark Ranalli has nearly three decades of experience and expertise in the utility and energy industry, and 20 years’ experience and expertise in clean and renewable energy project and enterprise development. Mr. Ranalli routinely provides services and creates tools and deliverables, resulting in clients’ prudent and optimal understanding, realization, development and implementation of sustainable distributed generation (i.e. DG and DG/CHP), alternative energy, and microgrid applications utilizing these DG and DG/CHP technologies.
Prior positions include: Vice President Operations and Business Development for an energy consulting and independent power producer / project development firm; Director of Operations for an unregulated affiliate of Niagara Mohawk Holdings, Inc. – Niagara Mohawk Energy – Distributed Power Group; Director of Procurement Services for Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation – responsible for the procurement and contract administration activities of company’s largest business unit with engineering and operating departments, including 4,182MW electric generating stations (Coal, Oil, Hydro), and various other management roles at Niagara Mohawk.
Mark has worked with a number of technology manufacturers, developers and integrators, facility owners, and energy services organizations, providing market development and marketing services, lead generation and qualification services, providing creative and comprehensive results-oriented energy supply and delivery solutions development services, detailed comprehensive and interactive financial feasibility studies and simulation models, business plan financial models, and market and utility rate analysis models, related to renewable energy applications, renewable fuels, CHP, co-generation, tri-generation, microgrid design optimization, and energy use assessments, for generation and delivery alternatives and savings.
